Robert L. Mills

Robert L. Mills “Bob”, age 77, passed away on the morning of May 8th, 2012. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late George and Mayme Mills and grew up in Lincoln Avenue. Bob was a retired Managing Agent with American General Insurance of Pittsburgh #1 PA. In his career he had helped so many families in their time of need. Though he was extremely successful in his career, he had always judged his greatest success by the help he rendered to people in need. He was a member of the President’s Council & Honor Guard, a life-time member of The National Sales Achievement Award & National Quality Award, and he completed training at Dale Carnegie University. He was a member of the Championship Westinghouse High School Football Team. He is survived by his wife, Donna (Whittingham) Mills; his son, Stephen; his daughter, Lorraine Jennings (Mike); his daughter, Sharon Wilson (Stan); his grandchildren, Daniel Mills, David Mills (Alayna), Ryan Stearns, Claire Higginbotham, and Vania Jennings; and his great-grandson, Kai Stearns; He is also survived by the families of the late Edward Mills and James Mills; and by the families of Jean Jones, Don Mills (Patty), Bill Mills, Janice & Al Greco; and the families of the late Carol Santoriello (Sam), and the late Don Whittingham (Regina); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
