Rolan was a friend at Milby High and Ive always remembered how much he loved his Corvair. I wished we could have stayed in touch

I read all of the wonderful tributes to Rolan and it confirms what a special person he was to his brothers and sisters in Christ and also his co-workers in Texas.  We were not able to get to know him nearly as well, for his time here in Florida was short, but, those of us who knew him, loved him. I also worked with Roland and enjoyed having him around. He was very pleasant to work with and his knowledge of our equipment made it easier to get the job done.  Linda, my prayers are with you and your family.

I did not work a lot with Roland but a few times.  His work was always excellent and he was well respected within Baker Hughes.  My Condolences, he will be missed.

Linda I know your heart is broken but you know who holds your hand. I pray that the peace that only Jesus can give be with you and your family now and always. Roland will be missed but we know the promises of God. Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Jesus loves you and so do I.

I worked with Rolan at Canrig Drilling. He smiled a lot, shared his knowledge with others, and lived the life of a faithful Christian. He was a good man who will be missed by everyone that he touched on his journey homeward to be with his Lord and Savior.

Rolan was a good friend, coworker (Baker Hughes), and brother in Christ.

I had the great pleasure of working closely with Rolan at Baker Hughes for many years.  He and I shared many memorable moments together and though I lost contact with him when he moved to Florida, I tought of him often.

Rolan was a thoughtful and loving man.  He loved his sweet wife, Linda, so very much and was a faithful Christian.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.  Prayers for Linda and their children and grandchildren during their time of loss.

Rolan was a special and loving man. Although James and I haven't seen you and Rolan in a long time, we have some sweet memories of those early years when we all attended Southeast Church of Christ in Houston. My first time spent with Rolan was when he took me to see The Poseidon Adventure the night before I married his cousin.  He was such a sweet man and a joy to be around.  I thank God for all the Boatright Reunions we shared where we became closer and connected with each other's family.  I was blessed by him in many ways. I know that I speak for many others when I say that Rolan was a good and kind man who was a joy to know and work with.  I am sad that he had such a short retirement as I know that he was so looking forward to living in Florida with his wife, Linda.  He will be missed.
