Rose was born in Summit, New Jersey and in 1958 moved to Daytona Beach, Florida with her late husband, two daughters and one son. While living in Daytona Beach, she and her husband owned their own commercial laundry service followed by a career at Pantry Pride. She had a passion for her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She shared her husband’s passions for the New York Yankees, loved football, was an avid card player( some say a “card shark”), loved to socialize with friends and if there was a game to play, she was either playing it, running it or both! The last 11 years she lived at Ormond at the Pines Retirement Community where she was an ambassador, played in the kitchen band and helped run several activities.
Rose was predeceased by her husband (Jim) and is survived by her daughters June Brown (Rod), Jane Norman (Earl), and her son James J. Perillo III (Kris), grandchildren Pam Taylor (Russ), Craig Brown, Jennifer Marrow (Jimmy), Cindy Bruce (Gary) and Kelly Perillo Brown (Tim). Great Grandchildren include Matthew Taylor (April), Brian Taylor, Mercedes Ertle, Madison Ertle, Jordan Bruce, Cassidy Bruce and Reese Brown. Great-great grandchildren include Paige Taylor and Mason Taylor.
