Roy Dunham Domingus, Jr., 88 passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 1, 2016. He was born to the Late Roy and Georgia Domingus in New Smyrna Beach in 1927. Dunham was Supervisor and Engineer for F.E.C. Railway for 40 years, A member of the PGA Riverbend Golf Club, and American Legion Post 17. He was a proud WWII Veteran of the U.S. Navy. Dunham attended New Smyrna Beach School 5, Bamberg Military Academy, Georgia Tech, and was a Trumpet Player in the Marching Bands. Dunham is survived by his wife, Ann Melvin (Conner) Domingus of the Home; sons Roy and Colleen Domingus of Citrus, FL., Ray and Jenny Domingus of Deland, FL., Granddaughter Tori; Many Loving Step Children and Grandchildren.
He is also survived by many friends and his Golfing Buddies at Riverbend who celebrated his Hole-in-one on November 12, 2012 on Hole #12 at age 83.
Dunham was Pre-Deceased by the Mother of his children, Mary Ellen Domingus. In Lieu of Flowers, Donations may be made to the Salvation Army or American Legion Post 17 in New Smyrna Beach, FL. A celebration of Roy’s life will be held on Saturday August 6, 2016 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Ormond Beach, FL.
