Rubye Gordon

Rubye Rolley Gordon, age 90, passed away peacefully at home on March 11, 2025 after a seven year journey with Alzheimer/Dementia Disease. A Miami resident for over 50 years, she has resided in Ormond Beach since 2015.

Up until the end, Rubye maintained her kindness, grace, compassion, love of family and friends. Rubye had a full life. Rubye's life can be encapsulated by the five "F" words: Family, Friends, Flowers, Food & Fun.

She is survived by her husband Cal Gordon of 68 years.

Her Children : Gail Gordon, Scott Gordon ( Donna) and John Gordon (Marci).

Granddaughters: Samantha Law, Meagan Faraone (Cody), Kathleen Gordon, Victoria Gordon and great granddaughter, Ariyana.

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and aunt, Rubye was a loyal friend and loved by all who knew her.

A nurse by profession, she was a humanitarian and volunteer. She devoted many years as a behind the scenes fixture to the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla # 6-7, Miami, FL.

In addition to being a devoted mother to her children and grandchildren , she was a dog lover of the highest order. Dogs were among her best friends.

A Celebration of Life for Rubye will be held at Cal Gordon's home on Saturday March 22nd, 2025, between 1:00pm and 4:00pm.
