Sandra was born on May 10, 1941, in Buffalo, New York, and passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the age of 85. She graduated from St. Paul’s Catholic High School class of 1959. She was married to Joseph G. Herget Sr. for 61 years and served alongside her husband for 30 years as a proud Marine Corps wife.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph G. Herget Sr.
Sandra is survived by her sons Joe Jr., Todd (Debbie), daughters Joyce Herget and Janet Davidson (Aaron), seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and sister Barbara Palkowski. Sandra enjoyed spending time with her family and will be missed by those who knew her.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 North Nova Road, Ormond Beach, FL 32174, US, on May 27, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
A Christian Burial Mass will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 600 S Nova Rd, Ormond Beach, FL, on May 27, 2026, from 2:00 pm
