

Stacey Ellen DeLuca 64, of Port Orange, Florida peacefully passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 surrounded by family and loved ones. Stacey was born in Brooklyn, New York June 16, 1948 to the late Nicholas and Marion Linhard.
Stacey’s education began with an Applied Science Associate degree in 1974 from State University of New York in Farmingdale. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Russell Sage College and also was awarded the Nursing Outstanding Academic Achievement Award in 2003. Upon moving to Florida Stacey enrolled in the University of Central Florida School of Nursing to pursue her Masters Degree in Nursing Education.
Stacey, in addition to being a Psychiatric nurse, was also a Qualified Therapeutic Touch practitioner and teacher. Having studied with the co-founders of Therapeutic Touch, Dora Kunz and Dolores Krieger beginning in 1973.
Stacey married Peter DeLuca February 16, 1984 and lived in Weston, Vermont before moving to Port Orange in November 2004.
She will be sadly missed by her sons Chris Leverone of Oregon and Ian Leverone of Orlando, Florida, and her many friends and colleagues here in Florida as well as those she touched all over the United States through her Therapeutic Touch Work.
