

He was born on October 6, 1934 to the late Irving and Ida Rubin in Brooklyn, NY. Following high school he answered the call to serve his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. In 1959 he married the love of his life ‘His’ Valentine. Stanley and Valentine moved from New York to Ormond Beach in 1969. He worked for Votran as a bus driver but his favorite job was when he worked as an MUA for the American Red Cross a position he kept until retirement. Stanley enjoyed painting and fishing and was an amazing dad and papa.
He was preceded in death by his parents Irving and Ida Rubin, and his brother Jack Rubin.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, his Valentine, his children; Sherry Frantz (Rick), Scott Rubin (Teresa), Steve Rubin (Debbie), and Isabelle Nagy (Lajos). He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A service to celebrate Stanley’s life is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Saturday October 15, 2016 at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, located at 4815 Clyde Morris Boulevard, Port Orange, FL 32129. A reception will follow the service on the top floor of Houligan’s on International Speedway Boulevard in Daytona Beach, FL.
