These are the Days that we all know the Glory of Jesus and we will know why we live in Florida. Some will come and some will go and those that stay have to be here for ever. I know that DR. I am so sad about learning of his death. I am very grateful for the short time I had with him. Although short it was very personal and professional. I can't thank Dr. Miller for his referral when he left the practice. I miss them both very much and my condolences go out to his family, the staff, and to Dr. Miller who have all been instrumental in turning my life around in the right direction and I know how fond Dr. Miller was of Dr. Cork as it seems everyone was.
Thank you both for the care and making such a positive influence and making such a difference in so many lives and our community. I feel very grateful, honored but sad as I have lost so many people in my life recently but thanks to all of you I am making it through these tough times.
God Bless and thank you Dr. Cork, his family for their support, and Dr. Miller and staff for all you have done for me. I will miss you and can only hope to make the differences in others lives as you have in so many.
Sincerely,
Chris Masal

I will surely miss Dr Cork. He was my doctor for about 10 years. Sending hugs to Mary and your children

Dr. Cork became our family PCP after Dr. Miller retired from the Sandpiper office.
Condolences to his entire family, the office staff and all friends and those that came to know him professionally.
One could tell him of the changes that one sees in the political landscape. He did not have the computer typing into it as one visited his office. He looked you straight in your eyes.
I complimented him on his nice attire of Florsheim shoes and nice professional clothes and a tie. He was old school and a nice, professional gentleman.
He will be immensely missed from the community.
God bless and keep his family and all that knew him as friends and in his professional life.

I just today learned that Dr. Cork passed away 2 weeks ago. My husband and I are in shock and deeply saddened. We became his patients in 2005 and cannot imagine finding another doctor because he was that rare doctor who cared about and treated us with dignity, kindness, and respect. At my last appointment, I thanked him again for giving me hope when I was at a low point in my life. I had no idea it would be our last conversation.

My deepest condolences to Mary, his children, and family. George and I were blessed to know Dr. Cork and will miss his kind and gentle spirit.

Dr Steve was the best doctor I have ever met. I have been going to him for 17 years. First in his little office on Beach St. he was like family to me , he sat and listened to you , spent time with you. Not only talked medical, we talked about family, friends, and as of lately his garden, he was so proud of it. I am also a garden lover and we use to compare hands to see who got their finger nails cleaner. I was shocked to find out about his passing! I didn’t believe it! I saw him 3 days earlier and he was he such good spirits! I wish nothing but the best to Mary his wife , his children and grandchildren. I know they are all saddened deeply! He was a Christian as I am and until we meet again DR Cork! God bless you and your family.
            With love snd and prayers
                              Nancy

To the Cork family,

I want to first send my deepest condolences for the loss of your husband and farther, My name is Christina Rivera and i moved to DB in March of 2017 from NY. I am a nurse. I looked for a primary for sometime before I met Steven. I immediately new from the first visit that he was my guy. The thing that stuck out about him was his humanity.....He was a human before a Dr. and that is very rare these days....As a nurse i knew many things and he always validated me and collaborated with me in what ever medical issue I came in to see him about. He was the realist Dr........Today i went in for my follow up visit since getting COVID only to be told he had past...I am devastated. He was truly a gifted Dr. and a beautiful person. I am so so sorry for your loss. I know he was Christian as am I. He is in a great place. Til we meet again.......

Dr. Steven Cork was my physician for 22 years but also seemed like a best friend or like a dear brother to me. He was a caring human being with a deep belief in God who conveyed reassurance that we would all see each other one day in heaven. I am just heartbroken to learn of his passing. My sincerest condolences to his dear wife Mary and the family.

He was our primary doctor for over 15 years. So Kind and Cared so much for his patients, he would listen and help in any way possible. My husband and I just found out today October 4th, we had a appt...and were completely Shocked, Saddened by the news😢
We all will miss him!❤
OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY 🙏 TO HIS WIFE AND FAMILY!
SENDING LOVE AND PRAYERS!

We are saddened by the loss of a wonderful Dr. and person. My mother, Marianne Johnson, who is now 92, had been Dr. Cork's patient since his office was in Ormond Beach. He treated her with care and kindness and brought her through several health issues. She would tell him how much she liked seeing him and he would tell her how well she was doing. Our condolences to the family. We will miss him.

When I moved to Daytona Beach seven years ago, I had a lot of anxiety. It wasn’t moving from another state, or looking for a place to live. It was finding a doctor.
I didn’t want to feel like I was being treated by a corporation. I didn’t want to have to wait 2 weeks to get in, when I had been up sick all night. I wanted someone that would listen to me. Because they believed I knew myself and my body.
I wanted an old time family doctor.
But they don’t exist anymore.
And then I found Dr. Steven Cork.
He was all those things and so much more. Down in his little office on Beach street.
I don’t have the words to tell you how very sorry I am for your loss. He was a good man, a good doctor, and I’m sure a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. And it isn’t fair.
He will be missed by so very many.

We are so saddened by the news of Dr. Corks passing. I started seeing Dr. Cork about 6 years ago from a suggestion from a friend that told me he had a great Dr. Well my friend wasn’t kidding. He was the best and nicest Dr. I’ve ever had in my 57 years. After a while appointments got to be like going to visit a friend. I got my wife to start seeing Dr Cork after listening to her complain after every visit to her then Dr. She was so happy after her first visit. I told her he was a special person and great Dr. Our deepest sympathies to all of his family and to his many loved ones. You will be truly be missed!! RIP Doc.
Till we meet again. Rob & Sherry

Dr Cork was an amazing Doctor but he took it to the next level with all of his patients and made them feel loved and welcomed . Just by his presence you knew you were being well cared for and the attention that he served each and every one of us is uncommon among most doctors today . Also an amazing man that loved Jesus with all his heart as we spoke of this very thing each time that he saw me . I had to visit each month as he took care of me for five years now . I will sorely miss my doctor but mostly I will miss my brother in Christ more and the light that was emitted through him to all of us .
We wish to send the family all of our prayers and Heartfelt Condolences at this time.

I had recently started seeing Dr. Cork as my physician and I felt so happy and blessed to be his patient. He already felt like family as I work with his brother, so his sudden passing is just so distressing. Sending love and hugs to you all, my husband and I are thinking of you.

My sincere condolences to your family and to the many who called him friend. I worked with him for many years and saw firsthand his kindness, compassion and generosity. He touched the lives and hearts of so many in our community and he truly made a difference.
May God wrap his arms around you and comfort you during this difficult time. Rest in peace Dr. Cork.

You will be missed- Rose

I knew him as doctor cork he was my doctor for 7 years. He was always kind and he listened never gave me bad advice. I learned of his passing at the pharmacy I wanted to cry he was the reason I was not afraid of doctors. He told everyone I was his best diabetic success story. I will miss him dearly.

Steven will be missed each day. He was truly the best doctor I had. We got so close that I called him by name and not Doc. We would spend time talking about everything and not just your health. That is the kind of person he was. Mary and family I am truly sorry for your loss as I know it is a great one to you as well as everyone out here. We will all miss him. Steven RIP my friend.

Steve was a friend, fellow pharmacist and later my doctor. He was such a gentle spirit and wanted nothing but the best for everyone.
He will be greatly missed in the pharmacy and medical community. He and I and Karl Swenson were the "team" at East Granada when I began working at Walgreens. Later he returned to his beloved Ormond Beach as a Doctor. My wife and I were patients of his for a number of years.
I pray that his wife and family will experience peace and love as
they remember him and their wonderful memories.
In fond memories,
Glenn Morin
