Thomas A. "Tom" Fischer, 75, of Titusville, FL, passed away on November 5, 2025. Born and raised in Burlington, Vermont, Tom joined the Air Force in 1969 where he earned the rank of Master Sergeant after dedicating 27 years to his country. While serving in the Air Force, he worked on the U-2 (aka the "Dragon Lady"), which is a single engine, high altitude reconnaissance aircraft that was used for intelligence gathering & surveillance. He retired from the Air Force in 1996 after traveling to England, Japan, Germany, South Korea, and Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his parents John Edward & Dorothy Fischer, his sisters Joan Foltz, Jean Cross & brother George Fischer.
He is survived by his daughter Dawn Alligood, son-in-law Lance Alligood, grandchildren Ryeleigh Nix, Tucker Nix, and Reed Alligood.
A service will be arranged at a later date.
