I was so sorry to hear of Val's death.  There were many years between the times we saw each other, but each time, it was as though we had never been apart.  To her daughters:  My sympathy. Your Mother was a really neat lady, cousin and friend.  To Uncle Bud:  I am so sorry and you have my sympathy.  To all of you - you are in my prayers.

Val was more than the mother of my best friend.  She opened her home to me many, many years ago during a transitional stage in my life.  She was a lovely, compassionate and caring woman.  She raised two lovely daughters, who in turn gave her beautiful grandchildren.  She will be missed.  My thoughts and love are with those she leaves behind.
