William “Bill” Feather, Jr. was born in Newport News, VA to the late Jewel Feather and Margaret (Leftwich) Feather on August 2, 1946. On the evening of June 10, 2023, Bill passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family after a long illness. Bill had many passions, but the ones that were the most important to him were playing golf every Saturday and Sunday when the weather would allow, cooking and woodworking. Bill worked over 45 years in the automotive industry selling imported auto parts traveling all over the country. Bill loved to listen to music while entertaining his friends and family over a home cooked meal. His love for animals meant he welcomed many dogs and cats to the family over the years and they were a huge part of his family.
Bill is survived by his wife, Irene Feather; his children Kimberly (Feather) Crotty and Jody Campbell (Michelle Campbell); his grandchildren Thomas Crotty (Becky Crotty), Samuel Crotty and Maxwell Campbell.
