Ran into Aime in Schiphol airport and knew him when he would see Paul when we had our coffee club in Cobourg. Both were the salt of the earth and left a great impression on all of us whenever we would meet.
R.I.P Aime, and condolences to your family,,,

I just found out about Mr. Rousseau's passing.

Mr. Rousseau was my principal at St. Phillip's Catholic School in Oshawa as well as my grade 8 teacher around 1972. He was always very kind to me and worked hard to prepare us for high school.

Much to my surprise, approximately four years ago, an RCMP officer that I worked with came in one day and said he'd had a drink the night before with, of all people, my grade 8 teacher. How I ever factored into their conversation is still unknown to me. In any event, a couple of months after this, who shows up at the RCMP office to visit but Mr. Rousseau. I was so surprised and delighted. It amazed me that he'd remembered me after all those years. We have a great visit and a great conversation. Such a small world.

Good teachers are so important in our lives and I'm so glad Mr. Rousseau was part of mine.

To all of Mr. Rousseaus's family, I extend my sincere condolences.

Aime hired me at St. Paul's to work there as a grade five teacher twenty five years ago. He was a real mensch, an outstanding Principal and a very strong witness to his Catholic faith throughout the Board. May he RIP and may his family take comfort in the many treasured memories they have of him.

I had the privilege of working with Aime at two different schools and was very impressed by his dedication and professionalism. Always ready with a good story he loved to socialize and was a real people person. Thanks for the guidance and all the fun times. Rest in peace with Bev.

It was an honour working with Aime at Fr. Francis School.
Over the last few years my husband and I would enjoy some social time with him at Daniel Fitzpatrick Pub.
He always made me laugh. Whenever his name was mentioned I only had fond memories.
Safe journey Aime.
