Alexander "Sandy" Dow Adamson

ADAMSON, Alexander Dow (Sandy) Sandy passed away on Monday May 9, 2022 at Oshawa Lakeridge Health Hospital at the age of 80. Alexander (Sandy) Dow Adamson re-located from Waterloo to be closer to his family. Son of the late Nellie Montgomery (1947) and Alexander Dow Adamson (1977) stepson of Margaret Montgomery (1996). Sister of Denise Ripley – Bill deceased (2020), brother of David Adamson deceased (2015) wife Joan. Uncle of Susan Kinghorn (David) and Kenneth Ripley (Becki). Great uncle to James, Stephen, Victoria, Nicole and Rebecca. Sandy worked at Waterloo Printing until his retirement in May 2007. Very special thanks to Ray, Jean, Walter, Dale and the congregation at Benton Street Baptist Church for all their prayers. Sandy was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and Benton Street church for 75 years. Concordia Club member for many years accompanying Lilo and Rita to their numerous functions and fond memories of trips taken together. Royal Canadian Legion member since 1999.
