Passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle, on Wednesday September 28, 2022, with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Janet (nee Lussier) for 59 years. Loving father of son Scott (Alanna) and daughter Dawn. Devoted grandfather/Papa of Kelsi, Taylor (Luke), Carter and Shane. Great grandfather of Crew and Ford. Cherished brother of Muriel Lafleur (Leo) and dear uncle of Tim (Celine), Lyne (Alan) and Christine (Paul). Sonny will be fondly remembered by brothers in law and sisters in law, Ron (Judy), Jim (Jodi), Robert (Mel), Mary (Steve) and their families, and by his many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West, Oshawa, on Saturday November 12th, from 2-4 p.m.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
