Andre Paul Laviolette

March 13 1970 – February 10 2025

Andre at the age 54 of Etobicoke, Ontario passed away Monday February 10th 2025.

He was the beloved son of Joan Laviolette and the late Rene Laviolette Sr.

Andre will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Cindy and Rene Jr. Uncle to Aaron and Amber, grand uncle to Alyssa.

Andre was known as a hard worker, talented artist of sketchings, wood and metal sculptures.

He was an exceptional handyman who could fix pretty much anything.

He loved sports, including waterskiing, skateboarding, surfing but especially hockey which he played and excelled at when younger.

He always put others needs before his own and was extremely unselfish.

He was funny, always with a friendly smile, he loved to joke and he made friends easily with his laid back nature.

He will be sorely missed.

A visitation for Andre will be held Friday, February 28, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Oshawa Funeral Home located at 847 King Street West, Oshawa, ON L1J 2L4. A memorial service will occur following the visitation in the chapel from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM followed by a reception in the lower level of the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family are kindly asking for donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation or to a charity of your choice.
