Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Hillsdale Estates on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the age of 94 years. Beloved husband of the late Jean (nee Elmes). Loving father of Toni (Mike) and Jo'Anne (Charlie). Dear papa of Erica (Fred), Thomas, Jessica, and great papa of Katelyn and Kendra. Will be missed by all his family and friends.
Tony was a long time member of the Canadian Corps Association #42, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43; he loved gardening; Riding his Harley and supported Ride for Sight; summers at the trailer; over the years he enjoyed playing darts, 10 pin bowling, traveling and enjoying a nice Guinness and an occasional Dram with family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Oshawa Funeral Home 847 King Street, West, on Thursday February 6, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday February 7, 2025 at 1:30 pm. Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa. Reception gathering at the Canadian Corp, at 142 Athol Street in Oshawa.
