Passed away unexpectedly after a brief struggle with cancer at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Thursday, December 19th, 2013, in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Sharon. Loving father of Shelley Dupee, Paulette Wannamaker (Paul), and predeceased by son Michael. Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Johnathan and Ryan. Dear brother of Doug French (Dorothy), Doris Manns (late Stan), Gary French and Suzanne Miller (Terry). Predeceased by Shirley Beers and Ron French. Loving son-in-law to Jack Smith (late Shirley). Dear brother-in-law of Nancy and Glenn Gray, Janet and Reg Burns, Paul and Renee Smith, and Kelly and Suzie Smith. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday, December 21st from 12:00 noon until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to the Ross Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
