So shocked to here of Bill's passing. Met Bill years ago, my dad worked with
Bill's dad Roy, and our parents would sometime socialize. Our path's crossed
working at G.M. over the years, but I had not seen him for years. My deepest
condolences to all his family.

My deepest condolences go to Debbie and the entire Smithers Family. I played golf with Bill on the Tour, worked with him in GM, and also worked with his father Knobby. Bill was a fantastic guy and will surely be missed by all of his family, the many friends he had and all the people he has touched in his life. Keep the memories of all the good times in your heart. RIP Bill.

I am so glad that I got to meet such a great person and call him my friend. Suzy and I will miss "Smedly", but we will never forget his great sense of humour.
