Bonnie Lynn Weales

Bonnie Lynn Weales (nee Solomon) passed away peacefully in Norwood, ON on Sunday January 26th, 2025. Pre-deceased by her parents Tom and Violet Solomon and her husband Douglas James Weales. Loving mother to Doug Jr (Shelley deceased) and Lori Lynn (Jeff), adored Nana of 8 grandchildren and Great-Nana of 9. Pre-deceased by her sisters Barbara and Nancy and survived by her brother Thomas and sister Wendy (John). She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was actively involved in the minor sports scene in Whitby for many decades and was co-owner of the Whitby Trophy House until her retirement in 2009. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and business acquaintances throughout Durham Region. Special thanks go out to the staff of Island Park Retirement home in Campbellford, ON and to Pleasant Meadow Manor LTC in Norwood,ON for their kindness, care and compassion during the last nine months.

Visitation will be held at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West on Wednesday January 29th from 11:30 am until time of service in the chapel at 1:30 pm. Followed by interment at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens, Whitby.
