My lovely friend of 42 years. Irene and I spent many saturdays heading for the local shops and ending up taking the whole day, travelling for hours and talking, planning our lives, and discussing topics of all sorts. I loved our time together. She was the one person I could confide in over absolutely anything, it was like what's said in the car stays in the car. Irene would have a go at anything, I even got her in the pool to try to teach her to swim....she was a lost cause on that one. Lately, because of living distance and other constraints, we did not see each other much at all but she was always in my thoughts and always will be. R.I.P. my TRUE FRIEND
