It's so hard to put into words, what Cathy meant to so many people. She was a bright light that shone through the fog of life. In all the years I knew her, she never had a harsh word to say about anyone. Cathy was kind and thoughtful and she loved her family deeply. We laughed together, we cried together and we held each others' secrets to the end. Cathy was my friend and I feel blessed to have had her in my life for as many years as I did. I miss her deeply but I'm thankful that she is now with God and out of pain. Be well my friend, rest peacefully; we shall meet again.

Cathy,
From the day our family met you back in July 1994, when we moved in next door to your daughter, Kim, in Oshawa, you showed us only kindness & love, and always a ready smile. You have blessed me with a forever friend- your daughter. We are all so blessed to have known you. You were very special. May you rest in peace ❤

My heart stopped but I'm still breathing
So numb but still I'm feeling
The less I look
The more I'm seeing
I just lost my hero

My beautiful nan, your strength was inspiring, your love knew no bounds, and your laugh was infectious. I'll always remember going to your house and racing mom and Corey fighting over who's nanny you were haha. You were also the only one I liked brushing my hair because nanny always did it so gently. I miss you like crazy but know you're walking beside every day. Love you morther, beautiful!

Cathy was my co-worker, confidant and friend. The office was never a dull place when Cathy was around, and we howled laughing at some of the things she used to get up to. Most of those things were quite by accident which made them even funnier. From office antics, Halloween dress ups, pool parties to Mexican weddings, Cathy was a constant source of fun & laughter. She was one of the most wise, loyal and honest people I know and possessed a heart of gold. Cathy’s family meant everything to her and her hutch at work was adorned with pictures of her kids and grandkids. There was nothing that she would not do for them and they all made her so proud. My heart goes out to Ron who was her rock and to her family as they continue on in this life without her. God Bless you Cathy – until we meet again my friend xo

What a lady! In the short time I had with my mother-in-law I got to be amazed time and again. She had a spirit that was infectious and never fizzled. Her smile was genuine and beautiful. She loved life and lived it to the fullest she could manage. We shared lots of laughs, and a few more serious times. I don't think I have met a stronger woman. My heart aches for the family left behind, but I believe she was satisfied that they were okay, and she could let go. Cathy...rest in peace...no more pain. You were loved by many, and will be greatly missed.❤️❤️❤️

I remeber meeting Cathy and going to her home with my friend Laurie. She was so friendly and welcomed me into her home. Her adorable little dog always had a different knitted sweater on ever time we went there lol.
Laurie, Cathy and I also went to the movies together and we were the loudest in line chatting, laughing and having a great time.
Too young to lose and my heart breaks for her family and my dear friend Laurie, I know Cathy meant a lot to Laurie. xo
