Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Lakeridge Health – Oshawa on Saturday, August 23rd, 2014 at the age of 93. Loving wife of the late Robert. Dear mother of Raymond (Luciana), Rick (Marilyn), the late Robbie, Virginia (Mike), Carol (Harry), and the late Gordie. Cherished grandmother of Ray Jr. Cindy, Sue, Kim, Jessica, Lee, Larry Jr, Gord, Derek, Darryl and Dionne and great grand-mother of many. She will be missed by extended family and friends. She will be remembered for her love of the Legion, darts, shuffleboard and her Coors light. Later in life she found a love for Bingo and scratch tickets. A Celebration of life service will be held at the ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION, Branch 67 (12 York Street N., Lindsay) on Saturday, September 6th, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
