Grandma, 

The relationship we shared together was truly amazing and irreplaceable. You showed me so much and were always there to support me through everything in my life. I have so many memories I keep replaying over and over in my head of how much fun we had together. Even when times were tough you knew just what to say and I can remember just sitting beside you on that little green couch with Honey fighting me for your attention just watching the Young and the Restless , and just your company made me feel so much better. 
I am so fortunate to have had such a strong bond with you and to have grown up with you. Also that you were able to be a part of Brody's life and were able to build a relationship with him even for just a a short 6 years. 
There were so many things I still wanted to share with you in my life and I know that although you won't be here physically that you will be there right beside me through every step. 
I miss you so very much, may you now rest in peace and be with your parents and watch over us as we continue our journeys with your guidance.

Mom, 

I don't even know where to begin. There is so much i could say that there would be no room to express how I feel. You have been my rock all the days of my life. Even at the end being beside you I always had a feeling of the love you had for me and your entire family. You were such a selfless person always putting others before yourself. Always wanting the best for me and doing everything you could to make that happen. Well you were the best. Not long ago I told you how much I still needed you. You told me that made you feel worthwhile. But I still need you and will continue talking to you for the rest of my life. And you will answer by my memories of all the advice you gave me throughout my lifetime. Not only were you my mother but my best friend.  I know we didn't always agree on some things but that made it more fun. While growing up in my teens my friends called you the cool mom. I was proud of that. And in my later years my friends still thought you were cool! Now I don't know how to feel. I am so sad of course and miss you so much but I feel you still inside of me. In my mind and in my heart I know you will never leave me. You are with your mom and dad now from where you first came. I know they greeted you at heavens gates. You told me they would. And you are their little girl once again. And i know dad is there too. Here i am rambling on and I can hear you saying Kelly you talk too much. So on that note I will say good night but never good bye because we will see each other again. I love you soooooo much.

Grandma,

Many people do not have the opportunity to spend 25 years of their life with their grandmother. I believe I was spoiled. I was able to grow up as a young woman with you by my side. You have taught me about love, kindness, and strength. You have taught me how truly important family is and boy, do we have an amazing one. I believe you will always be with us, not only in our thoughts and memories, but through your son, my dad. Every day I am beyond thankful for having the best father anyone could dream of having. I thank you immensely for that Grandma because I do believe you had a lot to do with that. I give you my promise that I will take care of him.

I will always cherish our 25 years of memories we spent together, especially the ones we shared at the mall I thought I loved shopping but you took the ticket on that one! I will always miss your sassy one liners and blunt personality that everyone truly admired. 

Even though you are gone, you will always have a piece of my heart that is irreplaceable.

I love you forever and always.

Mom,

You always said to me when I visited "don't you get tired of coming all the way out here?". And I said "I always look forward to coming to see you." Well I already miss our visits. I certainly got to know the clerks at Nygard - and in the last few months I just liked sitting next to you.

You should be proud of what you did here, raising a great family. You made a difference to so many people - with us, at work and as a volunteer. You somehow had a special ways with kids.

I feel a little lost with you gone. But you showed me how to be a good parent, and I hope that I can continue to make you proud.

I will think of what you taught me throughout my life, and will share this with the people around me.

Kay, a very special person. It has been an honour knowing Kay.. You will be missed. To Mike and Kelly and your families, I wish you comfort at this difficult time.

Gramma K., 

I have so many fond memories of our time together, I could go on forever.  Each time we spent together was different and you were NEVER afraid to voice your opinion, which I think we all greatly admired.  I was truly amazed at how much spunk and spry you had, even when confined to a bed during the latent stages of your illness.  

You fought for the longest time, even when some doctors counted you out you defied them and stayed positive which was truly amazing.  But now, you don't have to fight anymore and I know you are enjoying your time with your mother and husband, who you always told us you couldn't wait to see.

You have taught me so many invaluable things and I would not be the person I am today if it wasn't for you.  You also raised two great kids, one of which I am lucky to call my dad.

Rest in Peace Gramma K., I love you so much and please say hi to Grandpa Chuck and Nana.
