As a former footballer and Captain of the team responding to Chris's collapse in Sarnia I am devastated our two minute drill failed to bring the "Coach" back. Reading the comments about Chris makes it tough on me but hopefully the "Coach" knows we gave it all we could for the "Coach". His death makes me want to give it all you can in life as the "Coach" would want. I want your loved ones to know you never suffered and never were alone when we lost the game of our life in the last two minutes but I am still so sorry we lost "Coach".

We were honoured to have Chris as a friend.
His presence at many of the football fields will be greatly missed, no matter how near or far,He was always there leanding support and enouraging the players to be the best they could. As a coach he showed them how to win and lose with pride and respect, and never to give up.We were very fortunate to have Chris coach our eldest son and were hoping in the coming years to have him as the coach of our youngest son, sadly not to be.
RIP Coach Chris.

Though we knew you as a fellow coach, an executive and friend ,you were so much more to so many people. If our existance is measured by how much we give rather than how much we take than you have lived a rich and full life. We will miss you Chris but your presence will always be felt whenever we step on a field or sit on a sideline.
