Colin William Childs

Passed away peacefully at the Golden Plough Lodge - LTC in Cobourg on Monday, May 24th, 2021 at the age of 92 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Sheila (nee Fletcher), loving son Alan Childs, and his dear sister Marjorie Grinrod. Loving father of Susan Seddon (Wayne), and father-in-law of Kathy Childs. Cherished grandpa of Rebecca (Trevor), Amanda (Jean-Robert), Jordan (Melanie), Robyn (Steve), and great grandpa of Lucius, Gibson, Madeline, Nedrick, Forest, Parker, Oscar, Chase, Brodie, and Cole,. Dear brother of Beryl Finch, and brother-in-law of Shirley Pask. Colin will be remembered for his love of carpentry, Golf, and a good game of darts. He was involved with the Brooklin Carvers, Oshawa Carpet Bowling, Oshawa Senior Citizens Centre, and member of the former St. Mark's Anglican Church in Oshawa.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Arthritis Society.
