

Surrounded by family, passed away to join her husband Arie, and other members of her family. Corry fought a long battle with dementia and slipped away peacefully in her sleep. She is survived by her children Margareth Johansen (Ed), Henry (Adele), by Anthony (predeceased) (Gail) and Janey Williamson (Korry). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren; Jason (Sarah), Adam, Krystle, Michael, Angela (Neil), Stephen, Patrick, Erika, David, Johnathon (Ceri) and Lindy. Her great-grandchildren; Ava, Olivia, Grace, Thatcher, Charlotte, Scarlett, Jude and Iyla. She will be sadly missed by her family in Holland and many dear friends in Canada. Corry arrived in Canada in 1957 and married her sweetheart Arie in 1959. Together they worked to provide house and home for their family in Canada. During her retirement years, she travelled from the east to west coast of Canada with her husband in their fifth wheel. Corry was a member of both St. Joseph the Worker CWL Oshawa and the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Mary’s CWL Grafton. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Wynfield Long Term Care Facility especially the staff at Lynn Creek. Also, to the staff at Home Instead. Friends are invited to call at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2017 between the hours of 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at ST. JOSEPH THE WORKER PARISH (1100 Mary Street N., Oshawa) on Thursday, February 23rd, at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens, Whitby immediately after mass. Donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in lieu of flowers.
