It is with profound sadness that the family announce the loss of a dearly loved husband, father and grandfather on Sunday, July 20th, 2014. Danny lost his long fought battle with cancer in the arms of his beloved wife Carol of fifty seven years. He is the very proud and loving father of Steven (Kris), and Christine (Wayne) Pettifer. Cherished and deeply loved Papa to Shannon (Brian) Bell, Lee (Emily) and Alicia Pettifer. He will be forever missed by sisters-in-law Elaine (Royce) Weatherbee and Gloria MacInnes. Also dear friends Helen Brown, Margaret and Andrew Hawkins and his faithful companion Lulu. In keeping with Danny’s wishes there will not be a service.
