Darquise E Lambert

Passed away peacefully at Hillsdale Terraces on September 15, 2013 at the age of 83. Loving wife of Aldéric for 66 years. Cherished mother of Lorraine (Len), Guy, Ginette (late Scott), Gilles (Sylvie) and Jean (Barbara). Adored Mémère of Sandy (Cliff), Kim (Neil), Joelle (Jay), Jamie (Melissa), Danielle, Danika, Justin, Alicia and Eric. Nine great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Loving sister to Viviane, Stella (Maurice), Bella (Marcel), Gilles (Yvette) and the late Rheal, Yolande, Cléo, Pauline, Ghislaine. Darquise will also be dearly missed by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Darquise will be remembered for her association with La Fédération des Femmes Canadiennes Françaises and Les Filles d’Isabelle, and for her love of knitting, baking and adoration of family. She will be truly missed. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Thursday, September 19th, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ASSOMPTION DE NOTRE-DAME, 384 Hillside Avenue, Oshawa (905-576-1706) on Friday, September 20th at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the caring and compassionate nursing staff at Hillsdale and Fairview Lodge for taking such wonderful care of Darquise and her family. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be apprecaited.
