My condolences to Dave's family in your time of sorrow.

Reacquainted with Dave in March 2013, I enjoyed our reunions with other boyhood chums over the past year, and will miss him and our friendly travels and visits together.

It was comforting to hear Reverend Hughes speak of "Davey"...that he is in the next room so to speak. I can see him there. Until we meet again - over there.
My Condolences to Dave's loving family, God bless and keep you in your time of sorrow.

Dave Barnes - a memorable character for sure. One of my brother's friends for many years, I remember Dave, John (my bro) and a few of their friends hanging around and making each other laugh. I would laugh too, but didn't understand most of what was being said. They had a few years on me.

Later on, I married my husband, Ray "Scottie" Noble and came to find that Dave and Scottie were friends too. So, we did get to see Dave here and there now and then over a few years. Always a laugh. His personality filled the room. Down to Earth, and now free from it. Rest in peace, Dave.
Love and prayers to Dave's family.

Dave, you were a great and true friend since 1968, and we shared so many youthful, and later, experiences. It was wonderful that you got back in touch a couple of years ago, after a few years of lost contact, due to distance, and we had some good chats. I hope that, where you are now, they are playing your favourite Who songs, and that a Rickenbacker was waiting for you.
To his entire family, my sincerest condolenscences. To his legion of friends, let's enjoy our treasured memories of Dave.
