My deepest condolences to your family. We lived down the street from Norma. Who we miss dearly and speak of often. I'm sorry for your loss.

I am still struggling to accept this news. Dec 5,2016 he was to meet me and few others for a get together. He apologized for being unable to and promised to meet me in Downtown of CIBC. I have been leaving messages thereafter. I remember being with him when his father passed away in 2015. He was a gentleman and a respected leader in Scotiabank. Derek would always approach a situation with a solution. I feel I should have just showed up at 2201 without waiting for a call back. Condolences to the family.

Patricia, I am sorry we could not attend the service for Derek yesterday but our thoughts were with you and all the family throughout the day. Derek was always full of zest and sweetness and we will be at the beach this summer to celebrate his life. I am so glad you have such a supportive and loving family around you. Sending lots of love,
