Passed away peacefully on Monday, August 19th, 2013, at Providence Healthcare facility in Scarborough at the age of 83. Cherished wife of Jack for 23 years. Beloved Mom of Rick (Lily), Rob (Jane), Wendy and Sharon (Diego). Nanny to Jimmy, Diane, Brett, Erin, Bob, Will, Richard, Mike, Dianne, and Alex. Sister to Sharlene, Janice (Chris), Joanne (Marv) and predeceased by her sister Lorraine (George). Dolores will also be sadly missed by extended family and friends. Dolores loved her family and the outdoors. She had a good sense of humour and kept a positive outlook right to the end. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the caring and compassionate nursing staff at Providence for taking such good care of Delores and her family. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, August 22nd from 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
