Dear McGarry Family, our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.
We know Don from St Mary s and through Pam and Doug. Don was a gentle giant and had a smile for everyone. He was a great reader with his very distinct voice. He will be greatly missed. He would often lean over to Gerry on his way up to communion and say "God Save the Queen".
May Don Rest in Peace with Helen and Diane.

Dear Bill, Donnie, Jimmy and families,
What a wonderful father you had. He was so funny, kind, and thoughtful. I have so many fond memories of Uncle Don throughout my life, but of course, I will never forget how he would call my name out every time he ever saw me and make me laugh and blush. Because of Uncle Don there is a treasure trove of photographs he took at every event. These memories will stay with you the rest of your lives. May you be comforted to know how much he gave to others and how much love and joy he spread wherever he went. He loved you all so much and is now with his beloved Helen and Diane.
Many warm prayers and hugs to you all.

So sorry to hear of Don's passing. I worked several years with Don and he was always a gentleman at business or other. On occasion we even met at the arena, coaching our hockey teams, way back when. He will be missed by all. Condolences to the family. Sincerely, as he always called me. "Coulson", Ab Coulson

We were so sorry to hear of Don’s passing. He and I were reading partners at St Mary of the People for many years. Whenever we met is was “Howdy partner” followed by a big hug. He loved to discuss jazz especially Oscar Peterson. We will miss his deep baritone voice echoing from the back of the church. He missed Helen and Diane so I’m sure he’s happy to be reunited with them. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I would like to send along my sincere condolences to the McGarry family.
I have known Don for many years and reported to him directly in the 70's and 80's. I have fond memories of those days and I considered Don the best Manager I worked for during my career with General Motors.
He will be sorely missed by all.
