Donato Michele Romano

Passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, May 17th, 2017 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Assunta for 49 years. Loving father of Tony (Jennifer) and Remo (Mary). Cherished Nonno of Jacob, Allessandra, Micayla, Matteo, Luca, Jahmar, Keil and Tyjae. Dear brother of John (Antonietta), Frank (late Suleina), Antonietta (Carmine), Ida (late Tommaso) and Luisa (late Nunzio). Brother-in-law of Vince Guerrizio (Lina) and Gino Guerrizio (Annetta). Sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Donato will be remembered as a devoted family man, whose children and grandchildren were the love of his life. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Tuesday, May 23rd from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. MARY OF THE PEOPLE PARISH (570 Marion Avenue, Oshawa) on Wednesday, May 24th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
