Edna Camirand

1923 - 2015

Passed away peacefully at Taunton Mills Nursing Home in Whitby on August 15th, 2015. Born in Kingston, Ontario, Edna married the late Herman Charles (Hank) Camirand and moved to Sault Ste. Marie. They owned a confectionary store and in later years Edna worked at Sears in the Catalogue Office. After the death of her husband in 2011, Edna, suffering from Alzheimer’s, moved to Ajax where she entered a Nursing Home. She will be sadly missed by sons, Albert (Margaret) of Ajax, James (Debra) of Orleans and sister-in-law Patricia (Aime) Desjardin of S.S.M. Grandmother to Matthew, RaeAnn, Sarah and Christopher. Great-grandmother to Laurel, Quinn, William, Delilah and Neil. Loving sister of the late Albert and Hubert Alderdice. A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
