Here’s to you dad: it has been 2 years since you left us. Sometimes it feels like yesterday and sometimes it feels like forever. I miss you each and everyday but always know you are still with me in every thought, with how I do my job and care for my residents. I love you so much, I thank you for teaching me so many life skills, I think of all the good memories you left me with and will cherish them forever!

Bob and I would like to express our deepest sympathy in the passing of a great person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Barb and your family. We had some good times playing cards and having a few beers, and a few drinks of scotch. This is a hard time for family but you think of all the memories you have built over the years. Stay strong, time is a good healer.

Dr. Ninacs was our family's optometrist for more than forty years, as well as being a friend of my late parents, Marrion and Angus Smith. He was a lovely gentleman who will be sadly missed.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Barb: So sorry to hear of Ed's passing. As well as being my caring and thorough optometrist, the time he spent practising at the Orono Medical Centre was very special and was appreciated by so many patientsl He was such a nice man and his presence at our numerous retirement dinners etc. was always delightful. My condolences to you and the girls.

There are no words I can use to describe the loss we feel at this time. Dad was truly a generous, loving, kind man. He taught us to work hard and how to show generosity to those less fortunate (something I have shown my own son because it stayed with me over the years). There are so many memories that we have with him that will warm our hearts in the days to come. Dad, we love you to bits and you will forever be in our hearts xo

My Hero ~ Unknown Author

You held my hand
When I was small
You caught me when I fell
You’re the hero of my childhood
And my later years as well

And every time I think of you
My heart still fills with pride
Though I’ll always miss you Dad
I know you’re by my side

In laughter and in sorrow
In sunshine and through rain
I know you’re watching over me
Until we meet again
