Nana it’s been almost 5 years now and I still miss my best friend I can’t seem to wrap my head around the fact that you are gone.There  are days I sit her and look at my grad photo of us I miss going out for lunch with you and I miss you coming to my Christmas concerts it sucks you can’t be with me in person for my 21st birthday but I know you will be watching from heaven I miss you like crazy more then ever life has been hard without you here but I’m getting thru it I love you and miss you like crazy nana I miss you whipping  my tears away and telling me it’s ok or being on the phone for hours listening about my day I miss you and our crazy adventures up that big hill  love shy

Mom, I miss you so much and so do the boys. It has been hard the first Mother's day and Christmas without you. I miss our second hand shopping and our secret little places that we would go for lunch. It is with great sadness that we learned of Pat's passing.  She was a fierce advocate for her children especially in their formative years at Dr. Robert Thornton.  Joe really enjoyed his interactions with her.  Ingrid later met Pat, and Marlene, at TOPS where her wry sense of humour and friendly manner were most welcome.  A wonderful person.
