Peacefully with family by her side at the Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, June 17th, 2012, in her 79th year. Beloved wife of David. Loving mother of Pamela, Mark, Carla Thornton (John), Matthew, and Michael. Dear grandma of Johnny, Jenna, Jacob, and Joshua. Sister of Freda Kelly (Cecil), Rosamond Clarke (James), Bert Watters (Gail), Donna Tierney, and predeceased by Hugh, Charles, Doris, Martin, Wayne, Noreen, and Gary. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West on Wednesday, June 20th from 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at ST. MARY OF THE PEOPLE CATHOLIC CHURCH (570 Marion Ave., Oshawa) on Thursday, June 21st at 11:00 a.m. Cremation. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
