Elizabeth Macrae Wood Ells

April 5, 1917 – January 4, 2014

Peacefully passed away on January 4th, 2014 at Hillsdale Estates in her 97th year. Betty is predeceased by her parents, the late Murdo and Janet Macniven, sister Dorcas Holmes and brother Duncan Macniven. Beloved wife of the late Edward Harry Ells. Betty is survived by her brother Murdo (Gwen) Macniven and sister-in-law Joan Ells (late brother-in-law Robert Ells). Loving mother of Harry (Rosemary) and Elizabeth (Doug). Proud grandmother of Stephanie, Brianna and Andrew. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Hillsdale Estates for their care and assistance. Funeral service will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, January 9th in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the charity of your choice.
