Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 26th, 2016. Beloved wife of Jim for 64 years. Elsie was a devoted mother to Ron (Carol), Stewart (Susan), Gordon (Vickie), and Tom (Erin). She was a loving Granny to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would especially like to thank Dr. Kevin Graham, Nurse Sue and the rest of the Palliative Care team from Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their exceptional care and compassion. Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of Elsie’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234). If desired, memorial donations may be made in Elsie’s memory to the Lakeridge Health Foundation – Cancer Care or the Durham Region Humane Society.
