Sending our condolences to Tammy, Tracy, Lisa and all the extended family. Want you to know that we are praying for you all at this difficult time. I remember your Mom very well. It was a shock to hear of her passing. We don't always understand why things happen the way they do but we know we have the eternal hope that we will see our loved ones again one day. As the song says, in the sweet by and by. May the peace that passes all understanding comfort your heart and soul at this time.

Tammy, Tracey and Lisa,
I remember the day when the new family moved in next door to us when all of us were so very young and carefree. At the time I didn't know who the Morgan family was but it didn't take long to become friends. I remember your mother to be such a fun loving lady. It was a blessing to have you Tammy and Tracey as one of my dearest friends growing up and I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you as you go through this time of sorrow and will keep your family in my prayers.

I remember the first day I met your mom, Tammy. I had picked her up for church, she was quiet and shy, she loved going to church, I began picking her up weekly. It did not take long for us to get to know each other, we were becoming good friends, we talked on the phone a couple times a week, she invited me to her beautiful apartment. We had nice times together.
When Elvina ended up having to go to a nursing home, that was a big change for her, I was with her in her challenging moments, and thankfully it did not take long for her to adjust in her new home, the staff were good to her. I had good visits with her at the nursing home.
Your mom was the older sister to me that I never had, I loved her so very much, we were good to each other, we were able to make each other laugh.
I am so glad that she came into my life, she will not be forgotten.
I am sorry for your loss Tammy. Elvina was a great Mother and wonderful friend.
All my love and prayers to you and your family. God is with you. Love Lori Hutchison

We were so sad to hear about the lost of your precious mother, and loved one, I met Elvina many years ago as a young man when i lived with her brother Selbey, she was a special lady, and I was thrilled many years later when she found out that I was now a preacher of the gospel, she ask if I would baptize her if she were to come back to NL, which she did and I had the pleasure of baptizing her in the wonderful name of Jesus for the remission of her sins. She is now in the presence of the Lord the one she loved and served with all her heart, The Word of God tells us to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, My wife Verna and I spoke with Elvina on Saturday and prayed with her, that conversation ended with us saying we loved her and she told us the same, It is with a blessed hope that i end this one with I'll see you in the rapture my precious friend and Sister in the Lord. Praying for you all. . PASTOR & MRS GUS STRIDE . Conne River, NL.

. Well nan this day has come.. I knew you were very sick and suffering but you don't have to suffer anymore. You were an amazing grandmother and lady as well. I thought about you everyday and still thinks about you. I know when I was just a little girl you use to watch over me and my brothers , you were the best care taker when you were at good health. While my daughter (your great-grand-daughter) grows up I'll be reminding her and telling her how great and amazing you were to me and she would of been so lucky to have met someone like you. I love you so much and now you won't be suffering no longer and be at peace. You will be truly missed by me as well as everyone else. You are an angel , an you'll now be mine and my daughters guardian angel. I love you nan , I wish I would be in Ontario right now for your funeral.

Rest in peace sweet angel ❤️❤️❤️😭😭😭😭
