Passed away peacefully at Rouge Valley Ajax – Pickering Hospital on Wednesday, October 12th, 2016 after a brief battle with cancer, at the age of 72. Devoted husband to Catherine (Cathie) for 49 years. Loving father of Christina Ruscher (Thomas) and Paul Sweetland. Adoring Pappy to Sarah and Gerry. Brother to Cliff (Carmel) and Ruth (Seymour). Predeceased by his brother Mel (Rose) and his sister Anne (Gar). Eric will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 16th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. and Monday, October 17th from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place at Pine Ridge Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
