(July 3rd, 1955 – March 4th, 2013)
After a courageous battle at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday, March 4th, 2013, with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Derek Hunter. Devoted mother to Iain and Leigh Hunter. Dear daughter of June and the late Reg Smythe. She will be sadly missed by her sister Alison Dube and her husband David, the extended McFarland and Hunter families, her many nieces and nephews in Canada and Belfast, Northern Ireland. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday, March 9th from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Private interment at Groveside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Trust Fund for Iain and Leigh Hunter would be appreciated.
