At the Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Saturday, September 24th, 2011 in his 79th year. Survived by his wife Mary (nee McLaughlin) and his son Rob MacKay (Jennifer) and his companion William Willoughby. Dear brother of Margaret and her husband John, and his brother Bill MacKay. Frank was a 30 year police officer serving Peel Region and served as a volunteer in the Lee County Sheriff’s office in Fort Myers, Florida for ten years. Memorial visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, Oshawa (905-721-1234) on Monday, October 3rd, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Donations made to Unity of Durham or Lakeridge Health Bowmanville Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.
