Frederick Robert Fisher

After a terribly short, but extremely brave battle with cancer Fred, 63, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 8th, 2014, with his loving family by his side. Devoted best friend and husband of Lynda (nee Ayotte) for 42 years. Always there for his children Amanda and Jeremy and his wife Jamie. Cherished and loving Papa of Ryder and Nathan. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Nellie Fisher. Dear brother of Darren Fisher. Beloved brother-in-law of Don (Cathy), Doug (Donna) and Bob (Pip). He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and all who knew him. His humour, generosity and kindness will be forever missed but never forgotten. Many thanks to Dr. Raymond Jang (P.M.H.) and nurse Jill Lindo (VHA) for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, September 11th, 2014 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, September 12th at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to SickKids Foundation Unit 6A or Make a Wish Foundation would be appreciated.
