Gerald Doyle

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, June 15th, 2016 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Sharon for 46 years. Loving father of Lisa and husband David Milne, Kerry and husband Grant Brownell. Adored Papa of Trever, Justin and Keegan. Dear brother of Pat and husband Kevin Kelly, brother-in-law of George Hester (Joan), Brian Hester (Cathi) and David Hester (Joan). Gerald will be remembered by many nieces and nephews, both in Canada and Scotland. Gerald (Scotty) was a retiree of The City of Oshawa. He will be dearly missed by his many coworkers and friends. Celebration of Life will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, June 23rd from 1 – 3 p.m. A private service will be held at Oshawa Union Cemetery. Memorial donations to Lakeridge Health Foundation Emergency & Critical Care Unit or St. Michael’s Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
