Aunt Gertie;  I know that my emotions have kept me away from this page.  I also know that my beloved late husband Lenny Hilton would have wanted me to send our condolences to your family, to him family was everything. I always felt so welcome in your home. You and my Mom and other aunts laughing to the point of tears.  Special times with a very special person...you will be forever remembered.

Gertie was a loving mother, wife, grand mother and mother inlaw. 

Gertie came from a large loving family; She had 18 brothers and sisters. Boy she knew how feed people, Sunday dinners were not short of food, she sure knew how to feed people.

Christmas was Gertie's favourite time of the year, she'd always make sure everyone had a gift under the tree and food in their bellies. We will forever miss you.
