We were saddened to read of the passing of your mother in the newspaper today. Trudy had a wonderful personality that endeared her to many. Her countless hours of volunteering at the YWCA allowed many of the members to enjoy her great sense of humor and her warm spirit. We will miss her, but are sure she is in company with her dear Arnold.

Dearest Pat, I am so sorry for the loss of your lovely sweet mother. I am in complete awe of the way you took care of her every single day, the love the two of you shared and the closeness was quite evident. You and your sister were there to the end. She was a very lucky woman to have you  by her and I know you will miss her dearly. Pat Larry, Jolanda, Sean, Laura and Ashley my deepest and sincere sympathy.

Vandaag zijn we op de hoogte gebracht van het plotselinge overlijden van jullie moeder. Vorig jaar hebben we tante Truus nog gezien tijdens het bezoek bij tante Lies. Wat zag jullie moeder er nog goed uit zeg. Vandaar dat we nu geschrokken zijn van haar plotselinge overlijden.

Wij willen jullie onze medeleven betuigen bij het verlies van jullie lieve moeder. Oprecht heel veel sterkte toegewenst in deze ongetwijfeld moeilijke tijd.

Dear Family, 

Also from this site of the world a messages of condolence with the loss of your mother. I met her serveral times in Holland with your dad, my uncle. 
She was also special gast at my wedding day, 21 years ago............I wish you much strength for the time who has come. We are thinking about you!!!!

God saw her getting tired, 
A cure was not to be. 
He wrapped her in his loving arms 
And whispered ‘Come with me.' 
She suffered much in silence, 
Her spirit did not bend. 
She faced her pain with courage, 
Until the very end. 
She tried so hard to stay with us
