I first met Grace in 1974 when she worked for the law firm of Pollitt & Walters in Oshawa. I was a brand new articling student. Grace took me under her wing and with a combination of firm direction and a great sense of humour - pretty much guided me through the trials and tribulations of my introduction into the legal profession.
About 3 months ago I ran into Grace when she was having her hair done at Vincent's Hair Salon in Oshawa. We hadn't seen each other in over 30 years. She was still the same - laughing and sharing old memories about me and the partners - George Pollitt and Barry Walters. She also revealed to me what she really thought of me back in the old days - nice thoughts that I think were tempered with a lot of diplomacy.
I am so glad we met that day. I told her how she had helped me through some difficult times and how much I appreciated her being there with me.
My sincere condolences to all of her family. She was a wonderful lady.

So sorry to see this re: Aunt Grace. She was a very special lady with the biggest smile! We had so much fun with her and Aunt Shirley when younger. My condolences to all.
