Peacefully at Thorntonview Nursing Home, February 2nd, 2012 in her 93rd year. The last of eight siblings. Predeceased by her husband Jack in 1990. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by sons Jim (Joan) and Les (Jeannie). Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Joanne (Chas), Janet, Jamie, Lisa (Cam), Laura and Victoria, and her great grandchildren Lexi, Jonathan and Caileigh. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Emily and many nieces and nephews. Born and resided in Winnipeg, Manitoba for many years before moving to Victoria, BC and then for the last six years in Whitby. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held at WESTMINSTER UNITED CHURCH(1850 Rossland Rd. E., Whitby) on February 18th, at 2:00 p.m., followed by a reception in the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Abilities Centre (500 Victoria Street West, Whitby) or Westminster United Church.
